August 2016

The lakeshore communities of West Michigan do a fantastic job of hosting events and activities that include the whole family. There's so much happening that is geared specifically toward kids and families as a whole, and that's part of what makes being here so amazing!

Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!

Children's Day at Historic White Pine Village.

Free Kids Activities and Movie at Rotary Park in Ludington: Inside Out.

Adam Rader 5k Kaleidoscope of Hope Memorial Run/Walk at Stearns Park Beach in Ludington.

Friendship Day at the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library.

Lakeview Elementary School Back to School Night- 502 W. Haight St. in Ludington.

Franklin Elementary School Back to School Night- 721 Anderson St. in Ludington.

Puppet Show at the Scottville branch of the Mason County District Library.

Wednesday, August 31st, 5:30-7pm
Mason County Eastern Schools Open House- 18 S. Main St. in Custer. All students in grades K-12 and their parents are invited to meet their teachers and pick up class schedules.

Wednesday, August 31st, 5:30-7:30pm
Foster Elementary School Back to School Night. 3rd Grade from 5:30-6:30pm and 4th/5th Grades from 6:30-7:30pm at Foster School- 505 E. Foster St. in Ludington.

Wednesday, August 31st, 7:30-8:30pm
OJ Dejonge Middle School Back to School Night at Peterson Auditorium- 508 N. Washington Ave. in Ludington.
